A host turned actor. Stéphane Bern continues his second career. After becoming known to the general public as a journalist, he increasingly developed that of an actor. These remarks still left some impression on Stéphane Bern. “How many TV films do I have to do after a while to justify being an actor?”he said. “A lot of humility”

“I should, I think, have all that I have left to live to prove to justify being able to do a bit of comedy. Because hosts who do comedy are always very frowned upon”underlined Stéphane Bern. I’m working, basically catching up on all the theater classes I didn’t have when I was young. And so there I have coaches who make me work. […] I’m the first, I learn my text with a straight line. And then I try to live, also to let go a little”he said before detailing his affection for his character: “I adore Bellefond. He’s a character you can get attached to.”
