Jean-Luc Petitrenaud is preparing to make his last journey. On Friday January 17, 2025, the journalist will in fact be buried at the church Saint-Pierre-du-Gros-Caillou in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. From 2:30 p.m., a farewell ceremony will begin in his honor in the presence of his loved ones. As Le Figaro reveals in its notebook, “condolences will be made in register” and “the burial will be in the strictest family privacy”. For the occasion, a very special request was also made from the family. Indeed, to say goodbye to the deceased, his loved ones decided not to dress in black. “At the request of the family, no black clothes“, writes the newspaper. It is therefore far from tradition that those close to Jean-Luc Petitrenaud will say goodbye to him. A way of bringing a little cheerfulness to this sad event.

As a reminder, the death of Jean-Luc Petitrenaud was announced on January 10, 2025. According to information from AFP, the gastronomic journalist died “surrounded by his loved ones” at the age of 74. Upon hearing of her death, Louise and Antonin Petitrenaudhis two children took the time to thank “the people who loved him so much during these years”. Both will obviously be present at his funeral.
