This Tuesday, January 14, Kate Middleton participated in her first public engagement since the start of 2025. And it was at the Royal Marsden Hospital, specializing in oncology, that she went. On site, she spoke with sick people but also with caregivers. A visit that brought back memories for her since it was in this health establishment that she received treatment several months ago. To explain this move, Kensington Palace indicated: “The princess wanted to make this trip at once to show gratitude to the incredible teambut also to highlight the cutting-edge care and treatments that Marsden provides“.

When she arrived at the hospital for a visit, Kate Middleton said: “Entering here through the main entrance, after having made so many discreet and private visits, is quite nice actually…“. Then, after interacting with patients and medical staff, the one who recently celebrated her 43rd birthday added: “I wanted to come and show my support (…) to those who are undergoing treatment and going through such a difficult time“. And Kate Middleton experienced difficult times in 2024, which made her appreciate her victories even more. Since the end of the summer, her chemotherapy treatment has ended, but the princess is not completely cured however: “My road to recovery and complete recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes.”she explained at the beginning of the fall.
