It's a cinematographic event not to be missed, just like the Cannes international film festival or the César ceremony. This Monday, January 13, the 28th edition of the Alpe d'Huez festival in Isère. Like every year, several films are in competition and it is the jury chaired by Elsa Zylberstein who will have the difficult task of choosing the winner from among which With or without children? by Elsa Blayau, Better days d’Elsa Bennett & Hippolyte Dard, Love is overrated by Mourad Winter, The mix of genres by Michel Leclerc, The answering machine by Fabienne Godet, The rules of the art by Dominique Baumard, It's ira by Enya Baroux and Prosper by Yohann Gloaguen.
It was in a 100% leather outfit that Elsa Zylberstein arrived at the opening ceremony photocall. President of the jury, she was accompanied by all those who will be at her side until January 19, namely Tom Leeb, Izïa Higelin, Ken Scott, Gustave Kervern and Noémie Saglio. Other actors were obviously there, like Mélanie Auffret, Sarah Stern, Jean-Paul Rouve, Elise Larnicol and Tomer Sisley. Among the other guests, we found Zaho de Sagazan, Jarry, Caroline Vigneaux, Laury Thilleman as well as Marie-Anne Chazel and Gérard Jugnot.
A tribute paid to Michel Blanc three months after his disappearance
It is impossible to open this comedy festival without mentioning the talent in the field that Michel Blanc, the legendary actor from Les Bronzés, died on October 3, 2024 at the age of 72. A stunning announcement that no one expected, even less his partners in the Splendid troupe, whose recently released book The Splendid, we had so much fun was the subject of an exceptional dedication at Alpe d'Huez this Tuesday, January 14.
During the evening, a tribute was therefore paid to the deceased actor under the moved gaze of his former partners Gérard Jugnot and Marie-Anne Chazel, arm in arm on stage on this occasion.
The two actors spoke in front of the public, in memory of their friend who left too soon, without whom they are learning to live their lives again as actors and members of the troupe. A moving wink which now leaves room for joy and good humor for the rest of the festival which we are impatiently awaiting.
