Rebecca Loos, a former Dutch model, worked for the Beckham family during the famous English player’s move to Real Madrid, between 2003 and 2007.
The episode remains one of the most painful experienced by David Beckham’s family. In 2003, a few weeks after the English superstar’s arrival in Madrid, where he had just signed up with the prestigious Real club, the British press mentioned a possible adulterous affair between the footballer and one of his employees.

At the time, the midfielder, married to singer Victoria Beckham (ex-Spice Girl), was accused of cheating on his wife with Rebecca Loos, a 25-year-old former Dutch model. Recently hired by the Beckham family, Rebecca Loos’ mission was to look after the couple’s children, while helping Victoria adapt to her new life in the Spanish capital.
The revelation of this alleged affair had the effect of a shock wave. David Beckham’s on-field performances have suffered, while the player has always strongly denied any extramarital affairs.

Twenty-two years later, in an interview with the Spanish newspaper El Mundo, Rebecca Loos maintains her version of the facts, detailing in particular their first meeting. “I had to introduce him to Madrid. The first time, I took him out of the hotel by hiding him in the trunk of a car. Then, I took him to Bardemcilla, the restaurant owned by the family of Javier Bardem.”
She also talks about the pressure and personal attacks she suffered at the time. “It was brutal,” she remembers. “On one show, a man claimed he knew me and that I was a prostitute. I had never met him. Another claimed to have seen me on Ronaldo’s yacht in Brazil, where, according to him, I had sex with all the players there. I never went to Brazil. My parents recorded everything on VHS, and it deeply affected them.

Now aged 47, Rebecca Loos leads a peaceful life in Norway with her husband and their two children.
