The first season of Dumas returned to air this week, immediately plunging us back into mysterious and captivating intrigues as only author Luc Dionne knows how to do. In doing so, it created a real enigma around some of its central characters, notably Éric Bonin played by Vincent Leclerc and Delphine Proulx played by Catherine-Anne Toupin. Don’t worry, the inventive author hasn’t finished surprising you, it’s a promise!

We discussed it with the talented actress Marie-Lyne Joncas, who lends her features to private investigator Sophie Lacoste. She was kind enough to share with us her impressions of what awaits us this season.

She tells us: “ My character will experience very intense stressful situations. Sophie will be confronted with old demons!

Otherwise, we will see an Éric Bonin like we have never seen him. Get ready, if you liked the first 12 episodes, you are going to LOVE the plots of the other 12 of the first season! »

No doubt, she managed to pique our curiosity!

Even more, she confirms to us that she had to play a scene with a great friend of hers, who will make an appearance in one of the episodes. This is the screenwriter and actor Guillaume Lambert (see his photo here).

It states: “ I had to shoot just one scene with Guillaume Lambert who plays the journalist Yves Marchand. It was very hard to shoot this scene seriously, we are very close friends in life and it was still a challenge to stay focused! »

We can’t wait to see the result on screen.

The first season of Dumas continues, Mondays at 8 p.m., on -.

Good news, a second season was confirmed today by the broadcaster, accompanied by another big news for author Luc Dionne. Details on this are here.

Furthermore, you will also be able to find Marie-Lyne Joncas in a 2nd season of Grand Chantier Rona, later this spring.
