On June 11, 2023, the Elmaleh family grew. And for good reason, Noé, the eldest son of Gad Elmaleh and Anne Brochet, and his partner Johanna Marques, saw the birth of their first child: a little girl named Ely. A source of pride for young parents, but also for Gad Elmaleh, qui became a grandfather at fifty-two. Barely born, the infant already had a busy schedule, such as watching the animated film Despicable Me with her grandpa, as soon as she is old enough.
Gad Elmaleh is a happy grandfather
While waiting to experience this moment, Gad Elmaleh is taking full advantage of his granddaughter Ely, who celebrated her first birthday this summer. In an interview given to journalists from Madame Figaro, the comedian spoke about his new role as grandfather. And the least we can say is that he is fully fulfilled. To the question “Which grandfather are you?“, the dad of Noé, twenty-four years old, and Raphaël, eleven years old, replied: “It’s pure joy! I’m upset when I see her“.
Gad Elmaleh took advantage of this interview to reveal that he can’t wait for his granddaughter to become his biggest fan: “She laughs at my jokes, but not yet enough for my liking, and that’s my challenge: to be the funniest man in the world in his eyes“. More seriously, the comedian added how important Ely was to him: “I can’t wait to pass things on to him, and watch him discover the world“, before adding “I love him with a deep loveand I can’t wait to hear him call me ‘Gadi’“.
