As fires surge in Los Angeles, orders have been given to suspend several major shoots for safety reasons.

A state of emergency was declared by California Governor Gavin Newsom after destructive fires broke out in the city on Tuesday. The Los Angeles County Fire Department later requested that filming permits be revoked, as firefighters battled flames in different parts of the city, including the Palisades, Eaton, Hearst and Hollywood Hills neighborhoods.
The magazine Variety has listed a series of productions that have been temporarily postponed due to the current crisis.

NBCUniversal has reportedly suspended filming Hacks, Loot, Ted, Suits LA et Happy’s Place, but their film projects would not be affected.

Amazon has canceled filming of the second season of Fallout this week, as the post-apocalyptic drama is filmed in the Santa Clarita area, near the raging fires.
FilmLA told Variety: “The Los Angeles County Fire Department has specifically requested the removal of all filming permits issued in the communities of Altadena, La Crescenta, La Cañada Flintridge and Pasadena. Other license revocations are possible.”
As the fire spreads, the entire city becomes paralyzed.
