“Help those who need it”
“This house is where we built so many precious memories. “It’s where Phoenix took her first steps and where we dreamed of building a life of memories with London,” the former “The Simple Life” star wrote, referring to her two children. The star also pledged “to offer help as soon as possible and make a meaningful gesture for those who need it most.”
She also announced that the team at her company 11:11 Media Impact has already begun reaching out to non-profit organizations to find ways to help those affected in the community and surrounding areas.
Hollywood evacuated
Among French personalities, Laeticia Hallyday also announced on Instagram that she had lost her house in the same neighborhood. “We lost everything… There’s nothing left. I saw our house go to ashes, helpless in the face of the flames which took everything away,” she laments on the social network.
In recent hours, fires have ravaged some 7,000 hectares around Los Angeles and forced 100,000 residents to leave the area. The city remains surrounded by flames. The human toll would also be heavy, with five deaths recorded so far. Residents of Hollywood were ordered to evacuate.
