The following evening, it was the turn of the beloved psychiatrist Philippe Dupéré (played by Patrick Labbe) to succumb to brain death. Following this upheaval, the actor gave an interview to Montreal Journal, where he expressed his questions regarding the sudden departure of his character.
After the publication of the article, Patrick Labbé wanted to return to his comments and apologize, in particular to the author of the series Marie-Andrée Labbé and to the producer Fabienne Larouche.

-«Marie Andrée and Fabienne,
I would first like to thank you for the incredible opportunity you gave me to be part of STAT and to play the role of Philippe.
This project has been a life-changing experience, both professionally and personally, and I am deeply grateful to have contributed to this project.
I am writing to you to express my sincere apologies that my comments, during the interview given to the Journal de Montréal, may have caused harm or been misperceived. My intention was never to criticize the production or highlight negative aspects. My goal was simply to share my personal feelings and the emotions I experienced while saying goodbye to a character that I had so much fun playing.
I understand, by reading the article, that my words could have been misinterpreted, and I take full responsibility for this misunderstanding.
I would like to reiterate my respect for your work, for the production team, and for all the care taken to tell such a captivating story.
Once again, I am sorry if my words caused any discomfort. I would like to assure you of my complete gratitude for everything this experience has given me.
With all my respect,
Patrick
