The former footballer surprised everyone by announcing his separation from his wife Jessica last September, after 11 years of marriage. However, who says divorce does not necessarily mean a painful breakup, as Robert Pirès recalled on his social networks this January 6, while he was enjoying a family vacation under the sun.
During an Instagram story, the ex-Blues player shared a photo of five with his future ex-wife Jessica Lemarie and their three children: Naïa (born in 2005), Théo (born in 2008) and Allesio ( born in 2011). “Separating up does not necessarily mean no longer loving or caring for each other! We remain a family. A different family but a family nonetheless, which loves and supports each other,” Robert Pirès first commented. “We can’t spend 22 years together and hate each other from one day to the next. The Pirès family seems to have celebrated the transition to 2025 far from France, in South Africa. On her own Instagram account, Jessica Lamarie revealed the photo album of her recent family stay in Cape Town, between trips to the beach, meals at the restaurant and selfies from the hotel room.

Last September, Robert Pirès and Jessica Lemarie announced the end of their marriage, “after 21 years of living together, 11 years of marriage and 3 wonderful children”.
