An inspiring journey… At just 24 years old, Théo Curin won numerous medals as a disabled swimmer. While he contracted meningitis at the age of six, he had to have all four limbs amputated a year later. Friday January 3, 2025, on the set of La Boîte à secrets, the new host of Slam discovered a figurine of the superhero Spider-man in the box in front of him. He accompanied him to the operating room when he was younger. Discovering images of him walking for the first time after his amputation, Théo Curin declared with emotion: “It’s as if I was born there, I really no longer have any memory of my life before with my arms and legs, he is strong, it’s quite exceptional and I discover a significant strength in myself.” Despite the challenges, the young man didn’t let anything stop him.
