After a discreet 2024, Meghan Markle is back in force, armed with her apron, a whip and her designer clothes. Between a newly relaunched Instagram account and an imminent new Netflix series celebrating her cuisine and floral arrangements, get ready.

The first clue fell on January 1, in the form of an Instagram reel. Meghan, flowing hair, flowing white shirt, bare feet, dazzling smile on a sandy Californian beach bathed in the cold winter light. It took that much poetry, freshness and spontaneity to initiate the thunderous return of the Duchess of Sussex on a social network – well, not too spontaneous either, since the video had to be replayed several times, judging by the number of “2025” already written in the sand.

It was only the beginning. The next day, January 2, 2025, the Duchess returns with the trailer for her latest series in partnership with Netflix: With Love, Meghan.

This time, it is as a perfect housewife that the former actress and princess, who has since converted to philanthropy, activism, entrepreneurship and interior design, improvises. A surprising turnaround in “tradwife” for this self-proclaimed feminist from the start, but so be it.

The promise of this new series made in the enchanted world of the Sussexes? Lots of joy and bursts of laughter, homemade dishes, Mimosas garnished with rosemary from the garden, inspiring floral decorations and organic vegetables lovingly stored in wicker baskets. “I always liked taking something quite ordinary and elevating it”intones the heroine as she pours olive oil over hummus.

More concretely, for her first solo series, Meghan will mix “practical advice” and “frank conversations with friends”, favoring “the playful side rather than perfection”, and highlighting “how easy it is to create beauty, even in the unexpected,” says a Netflix press release.

For the rest of us, proletarians, it will above all be an opportunity to discover the interior of the fabulous mansion in Montecito, California, in which the former royal couple has resided since their departure from the United Kingdom five years ago, and to drool over this fantastic little Gin and Tonic served on the terrace to his guests.

It would be better, since this new series should accompany the launch of American Riviera Orchard, Meghan’s lifestyle company, announced in March 2024 with a lot of jars of jam (an offensive that we told you about, here).
