Still as active after years of existence, the Bodin’s duo is the type to multiply their releases. Tours, feature films, new shows… Christian and his mother Maria never stop! This evening, they will have one of their adventures in store for us on M6, called Surprise birthday at the Bodin’srecorded at the zenith of Nantes. Their second show, written especially for the small screen, will be rebroadcast with some great guests. Alongside Vincent Dubois and Jean-Christian Fraiscinet, we will meet Michaël Gregorio, Virginie Hocq, Gilbert Montagné, Gil Alma, Chantal Ladesou and many others. On the other hand, no Jamel Debbouze was there. But why then?
Surprise birthday at the Bodin’s : Maria pulls out all the stops for Christian’s 50th birthday
Despite her 80 years, Maria is a powerhouse! Never one to hold her tongue in her pocket, this lady with a strong character has decided to do things in a big way for her son Christian’s birthday. Almost fifty years old, he can’t imagine what his mother is planning, he who is going fishing with his best friend… Indeed, Maria will in turn organize a gigantic banquet, invite a renowned DJ and invite her favorite artists. Problem, the selected caterer has become vegan and the disc jockey cannot make himself understood by the octogenarian! Misunderstandings and laughs will therefore be on the agenda, especially when we know that Bodin’s mother is also trying to find a place for her son!
Surprise birthday at the Bodin’s : Jamel Debbouze forced to cancel his visit
It’s an understatement to say that this show represented quite a challenge for Vincent Dubois and Jean-Christian Fraiscinet, the two actors behind Bodin’s. As they shared in the columns of 20 minutes, the writing could sometimes seem like a real puzzle. Vincent Dubois says: “We wrote with the ideal performer in mind for each character. We were faced with refusals and pitfalls. We then had to adapt the texts for someone else. We had plans B, C and even D. We even had to make changes the day before, from the shoot. It’s scary, but it’s a good writing school.” Thus, Jamel Debbouze, responsible for portraying the famous caterer of the show, was unable to honor the Bodin’s with his presence, due to a scheduling problem. However, this is not enough to jeopardize the show, as Jean-Christian Fraiscinet explains: “We always tell ourselves that it’s not going to happen and, then, on the day of filming, there is a kind of magic that makes everything happen, perhaps not like clockwork, but with joy and joy. good mood.”
