“You would have been 52 years old today”: Faustine Bollaert still suffering after the loss of a member of her tribe

December 28 will forever be a difficult date for Faustine Bollaert. It was on this day that Guillaume was born, much more than a simple friend for the French favorite presenter. She considered him a full member of her tribe but Guillaume unfortunately left last October. He was only 51 years old.

Faustine Bollaert's friend would have turned 52 this Saturday. On this occasion, Maxime Chattam's wife wanted to pay tribute to him by publishing a photo and a tender message in her Instagram story. “You would have been 52 today. We miss you a little more every day. Boutou forever“, she wrote on the photo of Guillaume (in our slideshow), displaying a big smile.

The magnificent tributes of Faustine Bollaert to her friend Guillaume

It was on October 6 that the 45-year-old host announced the death of her friend, with a poignant text and numerous photos. “Guillaume's heart stopped this afternoon. And with it a part of mine died away. Guillaume was 51 years old. He left in a month“, Faustine Bollaert first wrote in the caption of a photo of Guillaume smiling, blowing out the candles on his birthday cake. “And he leaves us all, his family and friends, stunned, in infinite sorrow. Deep inside us“, continued the wife of Maxime Chattam who then addressed a few words to the wife of her friend Guillaume and their children: “I think of his wonderful daughters Zélie @zeldeau and Maylis @mlolikesclouds. I think of his admirable wife @maudcavalier but also of Daphné, Thaïs, Swann and Amaury. I think of Max, of Pierre, of Vincent, of Christian, of Kevin, of Seb, of the Freds… and of our whole tribe… the big ones and our little ones.” “We loved each other so much. I'm going to miss you so much my Boutou. I already miss you infinitely“, concluded the host.

A few hours before publishing this message, Faustine Bollaert had shared several photos in her Instagram story relating to her friendship with Guillaume. “An ultra loyal, sincere and funny friend… Guillaume“, she first wrote in the caption of a photo of herself with her friend. “The best of friends perhaps“, “My children call him Boutou… Because he's the sweetest…“, she continued. “Guillaume a man from my tribe“, added the RTL host in the caption of a group photo in which Maxime Chattam appeared. “William forever“, concluded the mother of two children, Abbie (born in July 2013) and Peter (born in July 2013).

Almost three months after Guillaume's death, the pain is unfortunately still great for Faustine Bollaert, despite the unconditional support of her fans…
