Nolwenn Leroy and Charles: an awkward duo?

“It was a very beautiful moment. Your voices blended wonderfully well. You gained confidence vocally, especially from the fact that you do the harmonies and sing over her“, first launched the teacher who nevertheless pointed out an embarrassment between the two artists.
“I looked at you and at the beginning of the song I was like, 'He's embarrassed.' Every time you sang to Nolwenn, your eyes were closed […] That you're embarrassed, I understand. You are a young man of 18 who sings with a woman who has the career she has, who is absolutely resplendent. You're sitting next to each other with his eyes staring into yours, you're singing his song… That's a lot of ingredients to not act like a puppet“, she added. Comments which obviously did not please the person concerned.
Charles has in fact assured that he did not feel any embarrassment with the singer. “We had talked quite a bit with Nolwenn before“, explained the young man before being cut off by his teacher: “I'm glad you didn't feel it. But I felt it. Seeing you looking at her with your eyes closed gave me that information […] Nolwenn too, she closed her eyes quite a bit when she looked at you“. A remark that has “irritated” the candidate.
