An essential face of French cinema for many years now, Mélanie Thierry met the man of her life in 2002. That year, the actress crossed paths with singer Raphaël. Since then, the two artists have not never left. Still in love like the first day despite more than 20 years of relationship, the two lovebirds have started a large family. Officially married in 2022, Raphaël and Mélanie Thierry had three children. First there was Roman, born in 2008, then Alyosha, who was born in 2013, and finally a third boy came into the world in 2024. However, the actress and the singer have not yet revealed the first name of this youngest. A beautiful family that the two artists are partly raising in their second home.
Mélanie Thierry and Raphaël are the owners of a house located on the Breton island of Bréhat. They try to reside there”two to four months per year” with their three children, as the musician explained on the air of France Blue a few years ago. This is not always easy due to their respective schedules. Indeed, the singer and the actress are regularly forced to go on tour for the first and filming for the second. “We have a house with my wife in Brittany. We are very attached to Brittany. It's like a crush. I love Brittany“, Raphaël also indicated. The couple really fell in love with this house located near the fishing port of Paimpol. “The island is my cell. Our own house. Our bulwark against the world. (…) There is always a magic, (…) that fascinates me… Something biblical, even almost mystical…“, had for her part underlined Mélanie Thierry in the columns of Psychologies magazine.

Besides their house, Mélanie Thierry and Raphaël also have a boat moored on site, with which they travel around the surroundings of Bréhat. The couple has also gotten into the habit of publishing certain photos of their sea trips on the actress's Instagram account. The two artists try as best they can to come and recharge their batteries on the Breton island of Bréhat at least every five weeks with their children. On site, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Yvan Attal, but also Antoine Duléry are among their various neighbors. The rest of the time they reside in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, in the legendary Abbesses district.
