In April 2023, Jean-Pierre Foucault narrowly escaped death. When he returned home, in the south of France, the emblematic host of TF1 then suffered a double cardiac arrest which could have been fatal. Several months after the events, the main person concerned spoke at length about his state of health during his time on the set of DailyThursday December 19.

Indeed, during his appearance on the set of the famous TMC talk show alongside Denis Brogniart and Hélène Mannarino, Jean-Pierre Foucault was present to ensure the promotion of a brand new show entitled Gladiators. A game during which several amateurs (aged 21 to 47) will attempt to beat gladiators during very physical events. “Sport, I did a lot of tennis […] I do a little less because I had small problems, not with racquets, although I am from Marseillais“, confided the 77-year-old host about his sports routine. Comments which then encouraged Yann Barthès to ask him for news on his health. “Impeccable, look, I’m here. I’m in great shape. I accepted being surrounded by young people, which means that I am confident“, he then said, not without humor. A confidence which has the merit of being clear!

A misadventure which greatly marked the famous Marseille man who has since taken great care of his state of health. “I pay more attention, I work a lot less, you have noticed“, he then added. A speech during which Évelyne Jarre’s companion did not fail to greet the “exceptional firefighters and [les] remarkable rescue services” who quickly came to his assistance.
