Customers at luxury department store Fortnum & Mason in London couldn’t believe their eyes. And yet, it is indeed the queen consort Camilla Parker Bowles that they recently saw in the process of carrying out its Christmas shopping in this famous British brand. The wife of King Charles III notably browsed the boxes of festive tea in the store. Some people present notably revealed to Daily Mail that she had finally opted for black tea with cinnamon and orange. Apparently, she spent some time examining boxes of £13.95 tea with her assistants. As a reminder, the Queen Consort has respected a royal family tradition established by the late queen Elizabeth IIwhich involves doing Christmas shopping in store. The mother of King Charles III also liked to give tea as a gift.

It was great to be so close to her, and I never imagined that I would ask for the same tea as the Queen. I just went to ask the saleswoman how much the box of tea cost and noticed she was standing right in front of me. I had a hard time believing it. It was a happy coincidence. I had gone to London for a trip especially for my birthday. It was funny because I never thought I would be within range of the Queen. There must have been a little more than a meter between us“, said one of the people who recognized Camilla Parker Bowles in the Fortnum & Mason store. “She was accompanied by about four members of security, but they didn’t warn me when I approached the table. It was a very good surprise“, also added this witness. The famous high-end store that the queen consort visited is located on Piccadilly in London, next to the Ritz hotel.

The entire royal family will be gathered around King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Sandringham for Christmas

LKing Charles III is preparing to host his biggest family Christmas at Sandringham. The big day will begin with the monarch’s personal breakfast, before the whole family gathers to travel to St. Mary Magdalene Church for the 11 a.m. service. After that, the royal family’s Christmas Day will look a lot like other families’ December 25. Since it will be filled with food at all times. Members of the royal family will feast on delicacies such as beef tongue and stuffed boar’s head. The classic Christmas dinner will also be celebrated when royals will enjoy roast turkey with all the trimmings. The day will end with a Christmas dance, as palace staff gather for a disco party and drinks for the rest of the night. One notable absentee at this party: Charles’ controversial brother, Prince Andrew. He will thus avoid adding his scandalous files to this moment of celebration, his daughters Eugenie and Beatrice have chosen, undoubtedly diplomatically, to spend the holidays with their in-laws.
