Last Saturday December 14, our Miss France 2025 was elected. The one who succeeds Eve Gilles is called Angélique Angarni-Filopon and represented Martinique during the beauty contest broadcast on TF1. It also has the particularity of being aged 34 ! A great first in the history of Miss France since until two years ago, candidates could not be over 25 years old to be able to register.
It was the producer of the event Alexia Laroche-Joubert, in 2022, who decided to review the regulations deemed too strict and not open enough to women. Beyond age, contenders for the title are now allowed to be married and even have children. Finally, they are allowed to have a tattoo as long as it remains discreet. Enough to open the competition to a completely different category of women. Moreover, Angélique Angarni-Filopon proudly wears two indelible drawings on his skin !

The first is located on his left wrist and the sign of infinity is represented there. “I was 20 years old. I did this with my sister, we went on vacation to Miami”she explained on BFM2. The other was made a little higher, in the crook of his left elbow. This is the inscription “In blessed“, which means “I am blessed” in Creole. A quote that refers to “the song of a Martinican singer called Meryl”she had clarified. If Angélique Angarni-Filopon was already the first Miss thirty-year-old, she also becomes the first Miss tattooed!
