Christian Clavier is back in the cinema. In Never without my therapistreleased in theaters on December 11, the actor plays a doctor who discovers with horror that his future son-in-law, played by Baptiste Lecaplain, is a former patient. A comedy in which Christian Clavier finds a stepfather role in complete disarray. “Question of age, I am now offered paterfamilias roles (…) And it’s funnier if there is friction with the children”, notes the actor, before specifying: “Which is not my case in life”.
Christian Clavier: his project with the Splendid to “restore the truth”
On the sidelines of this comedy, Christian Clavier also promotes the book The Splendid on the Splendidpublished last November by Cherche midi. A work co-written by Josiane Balasko, Michel Blanc, Marie-Anne Chazel, Christian Clavier, Gérard Jugnot, Thierry Lhermitte and Bruno Moynot, in which the artists tell their own stories la saga du Splendidfifty years after the birth of the troupe.
