At almost 61 years old, the former First Lady of the United States was acclaimed on an American set. And she didn’t hesitate to prove that she had a sense of rhythm.

In full promotion for the release of his latest book Overcoming : A Workbook and for The Laters Datersthe dating show that she co-produces with her husband for Netflix, Michelle Obama was, this Tuesday, December 17, on the set of The Happy Placethe talk show hosted by American singer and actress Jennifer Hudson.

“Michelle Obama should be president”

Special feature of the program: each guest is systematically welcomed by a guard of honor formed by members of the production and escorted to the stage in song. A festive tradition to which the former First Lady, who will celebrate her 61st birthday next January, willingly complied, visibly proud to show her sense of rhythm. Wearing an asymmetrical black leather dress from Bottega Veneta, paired with an oversized taupe blazer and heeled thigh-high boots, the wife of the 44th President of the United States walked the few meters separating her dressing room from the set, dancing, singing and interacting happily with the many employees present, a big smile on their lips.

A decidedly feel good sequence which appealed to its 57 million subscribers on Instagram. “I still think Michelle should be president!” reacted one Internet user, while another was amused by the fact that “everyone [était] came out of his office to welcome the queen. Usually, there are only about fifteen of them applauding. There, all the staff were present,” she insisted. “She looks amazing,” “I love it,” others simply commented.
