“Too hard for me”: a former TPMP columnist weighs in on his surprise departure from the show

Since its launch on 4, TPMP has known countless columnists around the table. And among the former faces of the show hosted by Cyril Hanouna, we can notably cite that of Benoit Dubois. The usual reality candidate, currently present in the casting of The Braintook part in the exercise between 2018 and 2020.

Benoit Dubois out of place in TPMP

However, as he has just confided to Buzz TV at Le Figaro, this experience was not made for him. Nothing to do with the sometimes complicated atmosphere on the set, he simply didn't feel at home within the group.

That is to say that on TPMP, the debates were a little too hard for mehe admitted. I didn't have the level and I didn't really want to get started. These are political or societal subjects, they are not my subjects.

The columnist's dream job

On the other hand, Denoit Dubois admits to having had a blast on a derivative of the program: TPMP Peoplehosted at the time by Matthieu Delormeau. “I loved this placehe exclaimed. TPMP People was completely my mind with the Kardashians and the price of Johnny's house…“And to add:”That's what interests me, the gritty stuff, the fat stuff from the press.

The message has been sent, it remains to be seen whether Cyril Hanouna will hear it when he finds another home after the closure of C8 in February 2025.
