The singer returned to the period during which she suffered of bulimia. A theme that she evokes in her new album, very intimate. “At the time you took an apple that you cut into seven pieces, to finally regulate it for the week,” introduced the journalist. “I suffered from a complex eating disorder that wasn't just bulimia, it was a little more fraught,” she explained. “It belongs to a long thread of black pearls that I have strung throughout my life, with bad encounters, and a way of receiving love in childhood that I could not feel,” she confided before talking about her childhood.
“All parents love their children, just sometimes, are they really equipped to pass it on in the way that is most clear to us,” she asked, to talk about her own problem. “I am one of those people who, even if they were loved, sometimes had difficulty understanding how they were loved,” she said to explain the Genesis of the songs on her new album. “In this song in particular, Une fleur à la bouche, I tell the story of this indescribable incomprehension which turns into an eating disorder, and which turns into a magnificent liberation over time, (…)
