French actor Gérard Darmon is in turmoil. This November 27, Politis published an investigation in which nine women accused him of numerous inappropriate behaviors during six film shoots between 2018 and last summer.
If for the moment no complaint has been filed, Gérard Darmon denies the facts but did not wish to speak further to the media.
Gérard Darmon: a happy father and husband
Gérard Darmon is one of the most popular French actors. Aged 76, imore than 80 films to his credit as well as several TV films. He began his film career in 1969 in Gérard Oury's feature film, The Brain. His most recent appearance on the big screen dates from October 2, 2024 with the film We're doing what now by Lucien Jean-Baptiste.

On the private side, Gérard Darmon married Nicole Recoules in 1968. Together, the couple had a daughter: Virginie, born the year of their marriage. The actor also shared the life of Matilda May for five years. The two actors had two children: Sarah, born in 1994 and Jules in 1997.
Since 2000, he has shared the life of Christine, twenty-five years his junior. They married in March 2014. and Gérard Darmon their fourth child on August 17, 2017. Christine, aged 44, gave birth to a little girl named Léna.
Late fatherhood
Gérard Darmon has spoken on several occasions about this late paternity, notably in En Aparté on Canal + on November 4. “I was a very young dad and a very old dad. “I had my daughter at 68. I sometimes accompany him to school. I come to get her, I follow her, I am with her. When sometimes kind souls say 'your little girl is pretty', I correct it by saying that she is not my little girl but my daughter. At home, I am tolerant and attentive. I want her to trust me. He also revealed that he had received insulting letters following the birth of his little Léna, because of her age. “These insulting letters : ‘Qwhat a shame to have had a child like that, you will make an orphan very soon'. You have no right!'Foul things' he had mentioned.
