Paloma Faith champions female artists at Glastonbury
Paloma Faith has spoken out on social media against the flood of “appalling” criticism that has been circulating online against female artists including Dua Lipa and SZA following their performance at the Glastonbury music festival in England.
The musician and singer posted yesterday on X/Twitter a black and white photo of herself, arms raised on stage, with the comment: “I think people need to understand that women are not on stage to be ridiculed and humiliated, we are powerful f*cking bosses and we support each other. LEAVE WOMEN ALONE.”
The message is clear.

Prince William’s aunt, who was expected in Canada this week for the centenary of the Newfoundland National Memorial, expressed her regrets in a personal message transmitted yesterday by the Governor General of Canada.
“It is with deep regret that I cannot be with you today,” she said. “I have very fond memories of my visit in 2016 (…) and I am deeply saddened that I will not be able to join you again and extend my warmest wishes to you on this special day of remembrance.”
