Tom Morello calls on metal fans to take action to change the world.

As we know, Tom Morello doesn’t mince his words. The opposite would be surprising when you’ve been part of Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave or Prophets Of Rage.
At Hellfest where he played on Friday, Tom Morello took two seconds to speak to the press, happy to see that a certain rage is still bubbling inside him.
The guitarist has very clear ideas about the state of the world: it will not change by itself. Certainly not without outside help, that of metal fans in this case.
“You are not the witnesses of History, you are its actors” enthuses Tom Morello. “History is not something that happens, it is something you create.
Once you have control over the fate of the planet, you can make it more peaceful, free of racism, more environmentally friendly and the only person to blame will be yourself if you do nothing.”.
To conclude his demonstration, Tom Morello invited metal fans to unite, the only way, in his eyes, to bring about real change. When are we going to do it?
