At 39, Black M is an accomplished artist. An emblematic member of Sexion d’Assaut, he decided in 2014 to emancipate himself and thus launched his very first solo album entitled Eyes bigger than the world. Success is there. Black M quickly goes on tour, continues to seduce his French fans and even makes a name for himself on television in Dancing with the Stars. On the heart side, the singer is just as fulfilled. For more than ten years, the former sidekick of Maître Gims has been living the perfect love affair with Léa Djadja, a beauty expert who we have notably seen in Incroyables transformations on M6.
Black M: this decision to marry his wife a few months after they met
And it is clear that between Black M and his sweetheart, it is crazy love. “It was quite obvious actually”the singer assured during an interview given to Gala last year. “When I met her, I felt like we already knew each other. From the beginning, we talked to each other like a couple who knew each other, even though we didn’t know each other!”he continues. A meeting that will change the couple’s life. So much so that Black M and Léa take a big step together by getting married just three months after they met. “It’s true that things went very quickly between us”notes the artist. However, this “feeling” that he felt with his sweetheart never left room for hesitation.
A love story that lasts
A bet on the future that Black M, who was also the victim of an attempted burglary, did well to take. “The bottom line is, just because we got married after three months doesn’t mean it didn’t last. Today It’s been 14 years, we have two children, and everything is going well!”assured the ex-member of Sexion d’Assaut, thus silencing the most skeptical. Same story from the main interested party who assures that her relationship with Black M is a “evidence”. This time, speaking to Télé Star, Léa Djadja nevertheless revealed that the difficulties were indeed there. “I listened to my instinct and let myself be carried away by my feelings in every marital decision, to the point of sometimes forgetting myself. With each difficulty, we were able to readjust our relationship, listen to each other, understand each other, communicate…”she assures. A recipe that definitely seems to work for them.
Black M: “I already knew she would be the woman of my life”
Deeply in love with his wife, Black M is not afraid to use the word love at first sight. “What Léa calls ‘friendship’ with all her modesty was clearly love at first sight. (…) I already knew that she would be the woman of my life, the mother of my children. Except that she refused to give me her phone number.”the singer recalled with amusement in the columns of Gala in 2019. And what could be better for an artist than to express his love in song? This is exactly what Black M did by unveiling his hit entitled Lea. A gesture that touched the main person concerned right in the heart. “This title is a true declaration of love. He used words that I read in his eyes but that I had never heard from his mouth. It shocked me.”she had confided at the time. A love story as we like them and from which we can only be inspired.
