Diddy has been removed from the calendar of the city of Miami Beach (United States), after the cancellation of “Sean Diddy Combs Day”.

The situation continues to deteriorate. The city of Miami Beach (USA) has decided to revoke “Sean Diddy Combs Day” on Wednesday, June 26, reported the Miami Herald.

“After careful consideration, the Mayor and City Commission have determined that recognizing October 13, 2016 as Sean Diddy Combs Day is no longer consistent with the City’s values of safety, community well-being and respect, and wish to rescind the proclamation,” a statement said.

The day was established by former Mayor Philip Levine to honor the famous Miami Beach resident, who has had ties to the city since the 2000s, including nightclub appearances, high-profile parties and the launch of his cable network to give a voice to African-Americans and black artists around the world, REVOLT.

Diddy Returns Key to New York City

The commissioners unanimously made the decision following a series of trials involving sexual assault charges and a federal investigation into sex trafficking allegations.

The controversy intensified last month when CNN released surveillance video from 2016 showing the hip-hop mogul assaulting his ex-girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura, in a hotel hallway in Las Vegas, United States.

After the footage surfaced, Diddy posted a video on social media to apologize, saying, “It’s hard to reflect on the darkest moments in your life, but sometimes you have to. I was in a bad place. I mean, I hit rock bottom, but I have no excuses. My behavior in that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I am disgusted.”

Last month, New York Mayor Eric Adams also handed over an honorary key to the city to the disgraced label executive.
