Shortly after the announcement of Jean-Pierre Descombes’ death, Jean-Pierre Foucault paid tribute to him on X (ex-Twitter). The former presenter of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire looks back on their “shared memories”.

In the morning of Monday July 1, the family of Jean-Pierre Descombes announced to Agence France-Presse the death of the host at the age of 76. Widely known for presenting the 20 Hour Games on FR3 (France 3) and was the voice-over for numerous shows (The Price is Right, A Golden Family)he passed away on Sunday, June 30 after battling Parkinson’s disease for thirteen years.He still took a cruising speed which is a little high. On social media, Jean-Pierre Foucault wasted no time in paying tribute to his former colleague. Indeed, on X (formerly Twitter) a few hours after the announcement, he began by declaring: “Jean-Pierre Descombes has left…” He then recalls their time together: “So many memories in common, The 8pm Gamesan immensely popular host… then a ‘room warmer’ at “What a great evening.”After his passing, nothing could happen to us. He had prepared everything conscientiously. Neither yes nor no to paradise!“, concluded the TV host. Then, it was Bernard Montiel who took the floor: “How sad to learn of the passing of the friendly Jean-Pierre Descombes.
