What a weekend for the Montreal Canadiens, but also for Céline Dion.
The destinies of the two indeed crossed during the draft which was held in Las Vegas, when Céline was invited by the Montreal team to present the team’s first choice.
Since this moment which marked the history of the CH, the reactions have continued to flow.
Céline Dion even reacted afterwards, thanking the team for the invitation, but also the treatment given to her by it and the NHL.
“I was very happy to be able to announce the selection of the Montreal Canadiens in the first round of the 2024 NHL Draft! Congratulations to Ivan Demidov. Thank you to the Canadians for inviting me, and to the NHL for taking such good care of my family!” she says.
Immediately after its publication, Chantal Machabée, VP of communications for the club, did not fail to respond to the diva of Charlemagne, also thanking her for her presence.
