Interviewed by Pascal Praud on Europe 1, host Guillaume Pley explained how he approached former president Nicolas Sarkozy in order to organize an interview.

Host and YouTuber, Guillaume Pley interviewed former president Nicolas Sarkozy. The interview, lasting 1 hour 32 minutes, was published on the Youtube Legend account, followed by 1.88 million subscribers, on November 17. The interview has been viewed more than 1.825 million times as of this publication. Interviewed on Europe 1, the host revealed behind the scenes linked to the organization of this meeting.

Pascal Praud asked him : “How did you come into contact with him?” Guillaume Pley declared on the microphone: “Through Véronique Vachez whom I contacted. I told him: listen, I would like to receive Nicolas Sarkozy, people have spoken to me about you several times. It's funny, I don't believe in chance. Let’s meet.” He then explained: “I don't know if I managed to charm him… We met the day before, to tell you everything over coffee. He invited me to drink coffee. I find it important to know people that we receive… Just to get to know each other a little.”
