). In France, The kid with Marion Cotillard constitutes a flagship of the genre.

Although it has been the subject of numerous documentaries,
the life of Johnny Hallyday has never been told in the form of fiction on screen. It will be very soon. The first biopic on the most famous French rocker will be released December 8, 2027exactly ten years after the death of the Boss.

What does David Hallyday think of the biopic about his father?

With such a project in the pipeline, eyes are inevitably turning towards Johnny Hallyday’s children. If Laura Smet has not spoken on the subject,
David Hallyday, he broke the silence very recently. The singer’s only son spoke on the show Bonjour! La Matinale on TF1 where he came to promote his new album, Requiem for a fool.“As it is not done yet it is difficult, as I am not at the origin of this project”he confided to Bruce Toussaint.

“Does it seem strange to you that your father’s story is being told in the cinema?” To the question asked by Christophe Beaugrand, the son of Johnny Hallyday and Sylvie Vartan responded cautiously:
“Non This is completely normal it’s an emblematic figure so we seize it, after that it depends how it’s done, we are still in a democracy we can do what we want after that you have to see the result it’s always the same thing”. See you in two years!
