He has very rarely been on the small screen. Even less as a main character. But Patrick Bruel will indeed be the headliner of an upcoming series, on TF1. The channel made the news official this Thursday, June 27, during its traditional back-to-school conference.

For the moment, only a few details have been revealed by the directors about this future series. This will be titled “Imminent threat”. The project had already been revealed some time ago but via the name Unit 8200.

Patrick Bruel will have to foil an attack

A series that lives up to its name since the character played by Patrick Bruel will have mission to foil an attack on French territory. A high-risk mission where he will most likely have to be supported.

In the cast: actress Natacha Lindinger seen in particular in Sam or The torchUnlike his colleague who has been very present on the small screen, Patrick Bruel has a less extensive CV.

The broadcast date of Imminent threat is still unknown. But TF1 seems to be betting very heavily on the development of new series.

TF1 draws series all over the place

Other than Imminent threat with Patrick Bruel, Samuel Le Bihan will also be entrusted with a new format. Carpe Diem will tell the story of a man wrongly imprisoned for the murder of his wife. Once out of prison, he will become a lawyer for “lost causes”. Lawyer still with Didier Bourdon. Many series already broadcast have also been renewed. Among them: Panda with Julien Doré, Replacing with Joey Starr or even Master Crimes with Muriel Robin. Series fans and TF1 viewers will therefore be well served in the coming months.
