A father and his son, suspected of having orchestrated heinous blackmail against the entourage of the seven-time Formula 1 world champion, were arrested by the police.

This is the German magazine The mirror which released the information in recent days, according to which two men, a father and his son, aged 53 and 30 respectively, were arrested last week by the police, both suspected of having sought to extort a large sum of money to the family of Michael Schumacher. Apprehended in a supermarket parking lot in Gross-Gerau, southwest Germany, the lawless duo is notably suspected of having threatened those close to the seven-time Formula 1 world champion to disseminate compromising intimate documents concerning them on the “darknet”, if they did not obtain the requested ransom (the amount of which is unknown).

Hateful blackmailers

To put pressure on the family of “Schumi” and force them to pay the requested sum as quickly as possible, the despicable blackmailers had even sent by email several sensitive documents to the relatives of the German champion, including The tracking of the files will have allowed the police to trace these odious characters, before calling them out. Placed in pre-trial detention, the father and son, currently on trial, risk a sentence of five years in prison.
