Celine Dion will do anything for a pair of shoes she likes

Among these, one of the most striking is the moment when the cameras follow the singer into her huge warehouse. Stored there, on racks or in boxes, are hundreds of stage and gala outfits, as well as many toys and drawings from her three children. “It can be dizzying. But here, I see parts of my life again and I love each piece,” explains the artist. After proudly revealing a tutu dress to which she seems particularly attached, the singer of My Heart Will Go On comes to his true passion: shoes.

“It’s not the shoes that lead the dance”

“It’s Dior, vintage, I think,” she guesses, delicately grabbing a shoe, before asserting, in a particularly determined tone: “a woman who loves her shoes always finds a way to wear them.” Given the sacrifices she says she has already made, the Canadian star is undoubtedly part of this category. “I wore shoes in which my toes were like that, because they weren’t my size,” she admits, mimicking curled toes with her hands.

But the anecdote does not end there. The Quebec singer assures that when she liked a pair of shoes and was asked for their size, her answer was always the same. “What sizes do you have?”, she replied. And to insist: “It doesn’t matter, I will manage. I’ll make sure it suits me.” His love for shoes is such that if he has ever put on a pair that is much too small, the opposite has also happened, with the risk of his toes sliding forward. But Céline Dion persists and signs, her size is “between 36 and 40”, because “it’s not her shoes that lead the dance”, it’s her. They will go where she goes…
