It has been several years now that the rag has been burning between Princes William and Harry. Between the two enemy brothers, contact is completely lost. But could a possible reconciliation be possible thanks in particular to Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton?
Indeed, according to journalist Richard Eden of the Daily Mail in an episode of his podcast Palace Confidential, he declared having exchanged with other royal experts who mentioned a possible reconciliation but not until “Harry and Meghan will not sincerely apologize for anything they have done.” The expert then indicates that the Sussexes will have to ask for forgiveness “at least in private”.

But the problems are numerous and the subjects of disagreement are diverse: “How can there be reconciliation when William and Catherine simply don’t know what will appear next in a TV program or a book?”, asks Richard Eden. “Honestly, once you lose that trust, you've lost it forever”. But between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, there are many wounds.
Indeed, during the Sussexes' shock interview with Oprah Winfrey, in 2021, Archie and Lilibet's mother declared:
“The thing with Kate that didn't happen was really, really difficult and… I think that's when everything changed, really.” “I'm not saying this to denigrate anyone, because it was a really difficult wedding week and she was upset about something, but she acknowledged it and she apologized,”
she added.
Points of contention
And when the two women met again, notably at the funeral of Elizabeth II, the tensions were palpable: “IIt was obvious that, despite the fact that Catherine might be uncomfortable, she managed to be a hit. She knew exactly how you should behave when you find yourself in a situation where you have to share the stage with others”indicated a specialist.
“Meghan was nervous, she was looking in Catherine's direction, and Meghan's left hand was covering her chest – at least for a split second. Catherine walked with her head held high, her hands relaxed and her chin raised high.
