The most beautiful tribute… On June 21, 2024, David Hallyday released his new record, Requiem pour un fou, in which he covers some of the emblematic titles of his father, Johnny Hallyday. Shortly before starting the tour which accompanies this album, it was in an interview with Le Parisien that the singer confided: “I'm going to tell my family's story on stage and it's super strong for me. It's my biggest tour, the tour of my life. I can't wait to share it.”.
Moved, the father of three children explained: “The idea of this project, which includes the album and the tour, is to give a new vision of our two works. Like I made all these songs today. I will only perform those that are close to my heart and tell a story.”.
Laura Smet: “I’m so proud of you!”
Tuesday November 12, 2024, David Hallyday performed on stage at the Dôme de Paris. The fans present in the room were surprised to see Laura Smet join him to sing a duet We are afraid.

Although they did not grow up together, the son of Johnny Hallyday and Sylvie Vartan is very close to his half-sister.
