Star Academy : Emma talks about her work surrounded by influential people
“My parents work at Orly airport, everyone is in the air industry in my family, so I worked there too“, explained the 22-year-old young woman, facing Ladji Doucouré. “I earned a good living and had a good job. I worked in official salons, with ministers, ambassadors and everything. It was a great job, very interesting, I drove on the track, I really enjoyed it“, she assured, adding all the same that she dreamed of making music. The announcement of her appointment was a real blow for Emma: “I fought too hard to be here. I want to get to the end of it, as far as possible and I don't want it to stop for this first nomination. I still have so much to give and I don't want it to stop. It's hard“, she revealed with sadness in the confessional, before opening up to her comrades: “I'm super shocked (…) I really didn't want to find myself named with Masseo (…) It pisses me off. These were the first evaluations where I was so little stressed, I thought I had done something well. I don't understand“, she explained.
