In a long post published this Friday on Instagram, the YouTuber takes a position by calling on those who would be seduced by the promises of the National Rally to take a closer look at its record in the Assembly.

“HASToday I need to talk to you. » This Friday, the YouTuber Squeezie, the second largest French account (19 million subscribers), chose to speak about the upcoming legislative elections, where he only has feathers to lose. Influencers, paid according to the power of their audience and their community, have no real interest in entering the minefield of politics. Lena Mahfouf, from the Lena Situations channel, however, reacted very quickly, like several accounts run by women.

The gamer had remained silent for the moment, before taking the time to post a long post on Instagram, made up of eight panels, in which he details the reasons for “oppose the extreme right”. He returns to the creation of the National Front by “admirers of Nazi Germany”, before listing the bills and resolutions opposed by its descendant, the National Rally. Jordan Bardella’s party voted “against the increase in the minimum wage, against the indexation of salaries to inflation, against the revaluation of student scholarships, against the recognition of slavery as a crime against humanity… » he says.

Then he discusses the repressive measures taken by far-right governments in power in Europe. “So for those who are fed up and who start to support the RN out of weariness, out of exhaustion, […] there is no shame in changing your mind, in questioning yourself. » He ends by urging his 8.7 million Instagram subscribers to vote: “Go vote on June 30 and July 7, and keep in mind that voting for a party that advocates hatred, discrimination, and fear of others has never been a solution. »
