A symbolic date… A couple for more than ten years, Christophe Beaugrand and Ghislain Gerin have long dreamed of starting a family. After taking numerous steps, it was on November 9, 2019 that their son, Valentin, was born via surrogacy in Las Vegas. A happy dad, the emblematic host of TF1 regularly shares photos of his little boy on social networks, while taking care to hide his face in order to protect his privacy. Saturday November 9, 2024, on the occasion of Valentin's fifth birthday, he published on Instagram a photo taken in the maternity ward. “Five years ago, around 5 a.m., in a small town on the outskirts of Las Vegas, the most incredible thing in our lives happened. Valentin was born. A tornado of love, joy and happiness fell on us”, he remembered with emotion before specifying that his son was “the most fulfilled and happy of the little boys” which made him and his husband, “the most fulfilled dads”. Through this publication, the host particularly wanted to thank his mother, as well as that of Ghislain Gerin, who “always supported and accompanied them”.
