Saturday October 26, singer Adele interrupted her concert in Las Vegas after seeing Celine Dion in the audience. The “Hello” singer then went to greet the Quebec diva, and burst into tears while hugging her.
Adele had the best surprise Saturday night during her concert at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. While she was performing her title When We Were Youngthe British singer spotted Celine Dion in the audience. Showing boundless admiration for the Quebec diva, Adele immediately interrupted her performance to come greet her. The two singers then embraced each other to the applause of the audience and, very moved, burst into tears.
A very symbolic place for Céline Dion
After her hug with Celine Dion, Adele asked her audience to make “some noise for Madame Celine Dion!”, one of “her favorite people of all time”. The interpreter of My Heart Will Go On came to attend the singer's concert with her son René-Charles and her twins Nelson and Eddy. And she was already very moved when she arrived at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, a legendary hall built especially for her in 2003 and where she sang more than 1,100 times during her residency which lasted 16 years.
Adele plans to take a “big break” from music after his residency in Las Vegas, which began in 2022 and ends on November 23.
