Brigitte Macron soon to be an actress? She actually makes a notable appearance in the last season of Emily in Paris. In one of the episodes of the Netflix series, spectators were indeed able to see the First Lady alongside Emily Cooper (played by Lily Collins). A short passage shows the two women in the middle of a selfie session in a restaurant. A scene as funny as it was confusing for French fans, who certainly did not expect to see the wife of the President of the Republic giving the answer! Whatever it is, Brigitte Macron seems to have really enjoyed the experience. “She came on set, she was funny, she was great […] and she improvised”, revealed Lily Collins on the set of Quotidien last September. Moreover, Emmanuel Macron, in a recent interview with Variety, gave his opinion on his wife’s performance.
Questioned by our American colleagues, the head of state was very enthusiastic about the presence of his wife in an entertainment series. “I was very proud,” commented Emmanuel Macron before specifying that the First Lady had had a very good time on the film set. “She was very happy to do it,” assured the President, although her appearance in the episode was only short-lived. “I think it’s a good thing for the image of France,” added Emmanuel Macron, satisfied that the series in its entirety (…)
