We know that Mariana Mazza has several good friends in the artistic colony. Karine Vanasse is one of them. The two friends also took a vacation together last spring.
In the comedian’s inner circle, we also find (at least) another comedian, Simon Delisle. And Mariana and Simon are very close; not only have they teamed up professionally for around fifteen years (Delisle was a writer on the first two one woman show of Mariana, and will co-sign her third, which will get underway very soon), but they also work closely together in their private lives.
So much so that Mariana was named godmother to Simon’s daughter.
“Clémence is 7 years old and Victor is 9 years old,” said Mariana about the offspring of her old accomplice, when we met her, precisely, at the media premiere of the latter’s new show, entitled attached.
“We are very close, I am a big fan and I love it. He’s a very good friend. He was always there for me when I was doing On the way to my first gala [en 2013, NDLR]. He’s taken with me!”, continued the young woman in praise of Simon Delilsle.

A second season is already in the works.
“There will be speakers in literature as well as artists whose library I will visit and talk with them about their favorite books. I will make an express book recommendation at the end of each episode,” explained the host, specifying that Livre Ouvert will be interested in all aspects of the books, from their production to their promotion. Mariana Mazza will also visit a prison to take an interest in the inmates’ reading, find out about the “sleepy” nature of the books, question the attraction of children to the cover pages, investigate the amounts of copyright, etc.
