Bad incentives will be eliminated in the health system

Health reforms are possible in Switzerland. The people said yes to uniform funding in the health care system. A long-standing bad incentive can thus be eliminated: Outpatient and inpatient services will now be financed identically, which creates transparency, relieves premium payers and strengthens integrated care. The way is now open for less expensive services and better coordination of treatments.

Status quo for national roads: new solutions are requested

The refusal of the 2023 planning stage for national roads means that urgent and necessary improvements to the road network cannot be carried out. The problem of existing bottlenecks and increasing costs caused by traffic jams remains unresolved – with negative consequences for the economy and society. It is now important to examine alternative solutions to meet the growing demands of our transport network. The Swiss economy continues to rely on better coordination between road and rail, with a view to integrated mobility, to serve as a basis for future discussions.
