The deeply restyled version of the Tesla Model Y will be available in France from March in a limited “Launch Series” edition.
Always beat the heat while it is hot. Anticipating the obvious media and popular enthusiasm surrounding the aesthetic restyling and the profound technical update of its Model Y, Tesla therefore had the idea of a “Launch Series” launch version.
The Tesla France site updated this morning offers the Model Y Juniper from March, but not in the two configurations available at launch in Asia, namely Propulsion and Long Integral Autonomy. Only the “Launch Series” Long Range Integral Autonomy is offered, but to be one of the first to drive a Juniper you have to have your wallet in hand. The model is in fact proposed to 60 990 eurosi.e. more than 10,000 Euros increase compared to a classic GAI. For the colors, limited choice since it will be solid black or Quicksilver gray. To those who can! And for this price, what do you get?
This finish, which is intended to be a sign of rallying to the Tesla cause, will not be distinguished by larger diameter alloy rims, contrary to the visual offered by the Chinese-American manufacturer. Conversely, a distinctive logo, like a sun or a star in the galaxy, will be affixed to the rear trunk. Resembling that of the ultra sporty Plaid models, it is distinguished by its warmer orange-red color.
When the doors open, a plastic threshold badged Launch Edition is visible, as well as a light which illuminates the ground using the visual of the trunk logo.
-On board, in addition to “high-end fabric” floor mats (according to Tesla), a small Launch Edition text appears at the base of the double inductive smartphone charger.
Finally, the top of the dashboard is adorned with a decoration with a black suede texture. Nothing too crazy, rather a little marketing technique to get customers to rush for the first copies of this new vintage of the Tesla Model Y version 2025.
And you, will you be sensitive to this ploy to buy the new Tesla Model Y, or will you be able to wait a few weeks to pay much less for the same car?
