Assets, but also serious gaps
In the passenger compartment, the manufacturer above all emphasized on a higher-end perception: chrome keys here, room lighting there, and omnipresent vegan leather on the exposed model. However, some materials do not always refer a flattering image, especially in the face of competition that has made great efforts in this area (at Peugeot, Renault or even Skoda in particular). And above all, the atmosphere is always very austere, centered around this omnipotent central screen, where it will be necessary to eye to absolutely everything in the absence of instrumentation or head display. Ergonomics are therefore not improved, even if we happily note the appearance of a classic lever for indicators, which advantageously replaces orders on the rim of the steering wheel. On the other hand, still no trace of Apple Carplay or Android Auto. Damage.
The strong point of this model remains its habitability there, especially in the rear seats, and its trunk: around 750L under the cover, and 170 liters of “fruit” at the front. The rear occupants also take advantage of an 8 ” screen to watch their multimedia or play video games on the way.
Autonomy increasing, but …
The aesthetic changes have made it possible to improve the aerodynamics of the vehicle, which has an impact on autonomy. It is increasing by 30 km, but not as much as expected. It culminates at 568 km on the long autonomy variant with four -wheel drive, which is in the good standard of the segment, but rumors were tabling for 600 km for this version. It will therefore be necessary to wait for the propulsion variant to check if it can stand up to the new tenors in the category. In any case, for the launch, only this long AWD autonomy will be offered, in limited series Launch Edition. A version that marks a serious rate increase, since it is billed € 61,990. It is € 9,000 more than the old version with similar characteristics, and always 2,500 € more once all the options checked.
In short, this restyled model finally changes very little and will have a lot to do to keep its reference status, he who can no longer really highlight the autonomy/price ratio of his predecessor.
