This first place is synonymous with “recognition of the work carried out by the city to offer a peaceful living environment to Saint-Mauriens”, responded on X the Val-de-Marnaise municipality, led since July 2024 by Pierre-Michel Delecroix. But what are the reasons for this plebiscite?

Located twenty-five minutes from the center of Paris by RER A, Saint-Maur benefits from this proximity to the capital, and a living environment that is both calming and attractive. This had already been highlighted just a year ago in the ranking of the association of Cities and Villages where life is good.

At the end of the phone, this Saint-Maurienne who worked for a long time in the mayor's office confided to us: “I now work completely opposite, in the west of Paris, but I never thought of moving.
