ChatGPT suffers global outage

The conversational agent developed by OpenAI has been down since Thursday noon. The Downdetector site reports several hundred complaints around the world. It is impossible to open the web page which directs to ChatGPT, the tab loads endlessly or displays an error message. The app doesn’t seem to work either.

We can see on the Open AI website that the company is investigating the issue: “We are currently experiencing high error rates in the API. We are currently investigating.” However, we currently have no information on the reasons for this outage. The last major ChatGPT outage dates back to June 4.
