-At the Osny remand center in Val-d'Oise, the judicial police arrested five prison guards at their workplace. The investigation before their arrest lasted four months. All the supervisors arrested are suspected of corruption. What exactly are they accused of? Among the missions of these officials is the inspection of food packages ordered by prisoners. It is precisely in these packages that cell phones and other prohibited items would have been hidden. These packages, once inspected, are then delivered directly to the cells.
Were the agents negligent in these checks or did they deliberately turn a blind eye to their content? Today, in the face of justice, prison guards proclaim their innocence. The supervisors' colleagues claim to have never noticed anything. However, some unions recognize recurring attempts at corruption on the part of prisoners.
